In the 90s the first product proposed on Spark catalog was precisely for the first Monster with carburetors … specialized and passionate about the Ducati brand from the very beginning, the Mantuan company absolutely wanted to offer a very special proposal for the new Monster 937. So, Spark R&D has studied a new specific shape.
The new design combines the timeless and essential round shape of the round titanium case with the latest generation technology of 5-axis CNC machining of the 6000 alloy aluminum end cap.
The end cap is the element that enriches the silencer and customizes the bike with a unique touch thanks to the different colors obtained by anodization.
The precision milled endcap is a technical and aesthetic element: the perforation allows to lighten the endcap and reflect sunlight like a real jewel thanks to the different radii in the internal and external part of the endcap.
The standard mounting slip-on is made of Aisi304 stainless steel 1in2 pipe and pair of latest generation Dyno side silencers with aluminium endcaps, are available in two different finishes:
– Red anodized aluminum endcap (GDU0839TOMR)
– Black anodized aluminum endcap (GDU0839TOMN)
For those looking for further alternatives, a third version with a carbon endcap is also available (GDU0839TOMC)
This very light slip-on, with silencers made entirely of titanium, reduces the weight by 1kg compared to the original. Moreover, thanks to the inner diameters and outlet sizing, the slip-on allows a increase of 2 hp with the Euro5 approved version, without any other modification to the motorbike.
Spark proposes the full titanium racing DE-KAT link pipe with TIG welding (GDU8527). A very light product that allows you to replace the bulky and voluminous original catalyst and give your bike a dark and deep voice.
Thanks to the titanium primary manifold (GDU8526), compatible with both the Spark’s de-kat and the original catalyst, it is possible to further lighten the weight of the bike.
